Russell, Lynne W. (13 SEP 1938 - 15 FEB 2011)


LOYAL -- Lynne W. Russell, 72, of Loyal died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at House of the Dove, in Marshfield.


Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Loyal. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.


Lynne Wilbur Russell was born Sept. 13, 1938, in Tomahawk, the son of Edgar and Hilda (Pomper) Russell. Lynne served in the Wisconsin Army National Guards from Oct. 3, 1955, until June 10, 1959. He worked for Plautz Brothers in Greenwood for a few years, and then worked several years for Alan Stanley, hauling cattle until 1972. Lynne then was employed with Boson Construction for 10 years and then drove truck for Sternweis and Bugar Trucking until retiring in 2005.


He is survived by his wife, Marceil Russell of Greenwood; one son, Steve (Pam) Russell of Marshfield; one grandson; three brothers, Edgar Russell of Auburn, Wash., Larry Russell of Hilbert and Rollie (Bev) Russell of Rib Mountain.
