Ebert, Walter G. #4 (21 JUL 1906 - 1 MAY 1955)

 

Funeral services for Walter G. Ebert, who died at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, Minn., May 1, 1955, were held in the West Side Evangelical Reformed Church, Greenwood, at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4.  The Rev. Charles Koch officiated and burial was in the West Side Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were Lothar Oestreich, Roland Seeman, Frank Wolf, Frank Degenhardt, Philip Capelle and William Rellis.

 

The church choir sang "Nearer Still Nearer" and "Sweet By and By."  Mrs. Elmer Meinholdt was organist.

 

Out of town people attending the services were Mrs. Harold Kuester and children, Milwaukee; Mrs. Tony Briski and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Kuester and daughter, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wesner, Arno Gruenwald, and Mrs. William Kuester, Sheboygan; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ebert, Dover Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Ruprich, Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Herrmann, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hermann, Mr. and Mrs. Royal Awe, Mr. and Mrs. William Ebert, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Crossgrove, Colby; Orin Johnson and Arvid Einer, Westby; Mrs. Philip Mattes, Mr. Arthur Kuester, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kuester and daughter, Thorp; Mrs. Ferdinand Kuester and Mrs. Harold O’Brien, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Brandt, Rochester, Wis.; Jim Bernards, Withee; Kenneth Held, Stanley; Mrs. Ida Horn and son, Glen, Mr. and Mrs. George Kuester, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Horn, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Wessel, and Cecil Lombard, Greenwood, with many others from Greenwood and Loyal.
