Sorenson, Ruth #4 (4 JUN 1955)

 

Howard Sturtz Sr. of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) , and Mrs. Ruth Sorenson of Unity, exchanged marriage vows Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity in the presence of the pastor, the Rev. Claude Vander Stoep, and relatives and friends.

 

Only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Talcott of Unity, son-in-law and daughter of the bride.

 

A blue suit with a corsage of white carnations and red roses was worn by the bride, and her matron of honor was attired in a rose suit with yellow carnations corsage.

 

A wedding supper was served at the Talcott home, after which the newlyweds left on a wedding trip in northern Wisconsin and Michigan.  They will reside in Loyal where Mr. Sturtz is employed by the Ace Hardware Co.

 

Wedding guests include Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sturtz Jr., Neillsville; Donald Sturtz and Mary Krozinski, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Miller and family, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. James Sturtz, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Art Lucht, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Lucht and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Lucht, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Haslow and daughter Karen, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Gotter, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Britten and daughter, and Mat Britten, Sr., Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Byron Talcott, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Baumann, Edgar; and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Binning and the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Vander Stoep and family, Unity.
