Granton, Wisconsin (22 June 1961)

 

Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Witte spent from Thursday to Saturday in Eau Claire, where they attended the state postmaster’s convention.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Rick and family visited Sunday in Birnamwood with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Herrema, and her brother, who recently returned from 13 months of army duty in Korea.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Treu and family, Clintonville, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Treu of Minnesota were Sunday visitors at the Ben Beeckler home.

 

Mrs. Eva Davis has returned from a week’s visit with her nieces in Minneapolis, Minn., and River Falls.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Poler are spending this week in Spooner.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidtke attended the Adler-Schmidtke wedding Saturday in Marshfield. 

 

Mrs. Emma Rausch has returned from Barron, where she had spent the winter with her son and his family.  Her nephew, Arthur Paulson of Neillsville, visited her Sunday.

 

Sunday guests at the Lucien Moh home were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Werner Doehr, Chili; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Doehr, Chili; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Doehr and family, Spencer; Miss Luann Doehr, Marshfield; and Russell Lange, who is in the army.
