Dusick, Richard A. (22 March 1953 - 21 March 2011) With flag

 

Richard A. Dusick, age 57, of the Town of Delmar, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2011, at his home.  Rich was born on March 22, 1953, in Stanley, WI, the son of Charles and Marie (Mahal) Dusick. He grew up in the Stanley area and attended Stanley-Boyd schools, and served in the U. S. Marines.

 

Rich then worked at various jobs: maintenance for Abbyland Meats, mechanic for Halterman’s Garage, then for the Haskell Company of Florida building prisons in Stanley, WI & Mississippi, and finally doing concrete work for Dairyland Construction.  Rich is survived by his devoted and loving friend, Cindy Maier of Stanley, WI; his father, Charlie Dusick of Thorp, WI; daughter, Stacey Dusick; sister, Patricia Savina of Boyd, WI; brothers, Tom Dusick of Cornell, WI & Dan (Cindy) Dusick of Eau Claire, WI.  He was preceded in death by his mother Marie Dusick and siblings, Sharon and Chuck Dusick.

 

Services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Boyd, WI with Fr. Joseph Raja officiating.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery with the Boyd American Legion Walter Nelson Post #326 performing military graveside rites. Friends and family may call on Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, WI with a 7:30 rosary being recited.
