Nowak, Harold  (23 OCT 1918-07 MAR 2011)

 

Harold B. Nowak B. Nowak Jr., 92, Abbotsford, was born into eternal life on Monday, March 7, 2011, at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at noon, at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford. Rev. Dr. Paul C. Hunsicker Sr. will officiate. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m., in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Curtiss.

 

Harold B. Nowak was born Oct.23, 1918, in Chicago, the son of Harold Sr. and Martha (nee Braeutigan) Nowak. On May 23, 1940, he married Blanche M. Phillips in Medford. The couple was married for 62 years before she preceded him in death on Dec. 10, 2002. He worked most of his life as a dairy farmer in the Loyal area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and time spent in the mountains. He especially cherished the trips he took with his wife, out west and to Las Vegas.

 

He is lovingly survived by his children, Marta Bohl, John (Diane) Nowak, and Bruce (Debrah) Nowak; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. He is further survived by three brothers, Robert, Kenneth and Roland Nowak.

 

In heaven he is united with his parents, Harold Sr. and Martha; a daughter, Glenna; a granddaughter, Doreen Hartman; a son-in-law, Allen Bohl; a daughter-in-law, Betty Nowak; and his loving wife, Blanche.
