Schoenherr, Pauline (8 July 1889 - 2 November 1961)

 

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon from Immanuel Lutheran Church in Globe for Mrs. Pauline (Eric) Schoenherr, 72, of Neillsville, who died Thursday. The Rev. J. G. Ruege officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Schoenherr was born July 8, 1889, in the Town of Weston and spent her entire life in Clark County.  Her parents were the late Frederick and Johanna (Golz) Steinberg.  She was married April 20, 1910, in the Town of Weston to the late Eric Schoenherr.

 

She is survived by eight children: Mrs. Harry (Rose) Swanson, La Crosse; Ruth Schoenherr, Owen; Mrs. Otto (Ottillie) Kunkel, La Crosse; Theodore Schoenherr, Neillsville; Frederick Schoenherr, Stratford; Mrs. Lewis (Lydia) Blaney, Salem; Mrs. Howard Padruitt, Black Earth; Mrs. Richard (Pauline) Christman, Independence, Mo.; and by four sisters: Mrs. Anna Quast and Mrs. Emma Hauge, both of Neillsville, Mrs. Bertha Scheffler of Custer, Minch., and Mrs. Theresa Foster of Marshfield; three brothers: Otto Steinberg, of Neillsville, Reinhold Steinberg of Chicago, Ill., and Albert Steinberg of Fargo, N. D.; and by 29 grandchildren.

 

The Georgas Funeral Home made the arrangements.  Pallbearers were: Frank Knoop, James Foster, Marce Foster, Fred Quast, Herbert Kurth and Frank Zickert.  The church choir, accompanied by Mrs. Clarence Wegner, sang, "A Haven of Rest" and "I Would see Thee."

 

People from away attending the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Swanson, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Swanson, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kunkel and Dale Swanson, La Crosse; Ruth Schoenherr, Owen; Jean Schoenherr, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Schoenherr and family, Stratford; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Blaney and family, Salem; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Padruitt and children, Black Earth; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Christman and daughters, Independence, Mo.; Mrs. Theresa Foster, Marshfield; James Foster, Waukesha; Mr. and Mrs. Marce Foster, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stiemke, Tomah; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Klueckman and Mrs. Ervin Clark, Eau Claire; Mrs. Doris Dudei, Mr. and Mrs. James Reil, Milwaukee.
