Haupt, Janet (05 DEC 1953)

A gown with nylon pleated skirt of ballerina length topped with a chantilly lace bodice and jacket was selected by Miss Janet Carol Haupt for her marriage to Gerald Thomas Bredlau, Saturday, Dec. 5. A lace and seed pearl trimmed headpiece held her finger-tip veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

The nuptial ceremony for Miss Haupt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Haupt, Loyal, R.1, and Gerald Breadlau, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Bredlau, Spencer, R. 2, was solemnized at the home of the bride’s parents with the Rev. M. S. Egge officiating.

Miss Darlene Haupt, gowned in a Nile green ballerina length frock, was her sister’s maid of honor. The bouquet she carried was of yellow, red and white pompoms.

John Bredlau, Spencer, served his brother as best man. Fred Heckendorf, Spencer, and Wayne Kelty, Loyal, a cousin of the bride were ushers.

A pink heather suit with black accessories was wore by the bride’s mother, and the groom’s mother wore a suit of gray heather.

A reception followed the ceremony and a 5 0’clock supper was served.

The groom is a graduate of the Loyal High school. The newlyweds will make their home in Janesville where the groom is employed by Fisher Body Corporation.
