Gumz, Darlene L. (10 SEP 1958)

The Rev. F.H. Sprengler, pastor of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Dorchester, united Miss Darlene L. Gumz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gumz of Marshfield, and Arnold O. Thieme, son of Mr. and Mrs. Art Thieme, route 2, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), in marriage, performed Wednesday Sept. 10, 1958 at 2:00 p.m. at the parsonage in Dorchester.

The bride was gowned in a floor length gown of white lace over satin with a scooped neckline.  Her fingertip veil fell from a tulle and rhinestone headpiece.  She carried red roses and white carnations.

Miss Lorna Hoffman served as maid of honor, dressed in a waltz length dress of yellow embroidered organdy with a scooped neckline.  She carried pink and white carnations.

Kenneth M. Larsen, route 3 of Medford, acted as best man.

The couple will make their home on route 1, Owen, where the groom is engaged in farming.
