Konik, Paul #3 (9 FEB 1903 - 21 DEC 1958)

 

Paul Edward Konik passed away Sunday evening, Dec. 21, 1958, about 10:00 o’clock when he suffered a heart attack.  He had been hospitalized from a heart attack in November and had been at home the past three weeks and was doing nicely.

 

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 2:00 o’clock from the Church of the Open Bible at Curtiss.  The Rev. James Stone of Owen officiated and burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

 

The deceased was born on Feb. 9, 1903 at Charlerio, Pa., and came to the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.) as a young lad where he grew to manhood.  He was married on Jan. 22, 1931 to Florence Hazen at Withee.  They made their home in Owen until 1943 when they moved to Curtiss.  He was a former Village President and an employee of Western Condensing Co. in Owen the past 15 years.

 

Survivors are his wife, one son, Gary of Barstow, Calif., one daughter, Sandra, a student at Wis. state College at Eau Claire, two brothers, Steve of Newton and Andrew of rt. 2, Owen, two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Anna) Wachsmuth and Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Guntunen, Owen.
