Washburn Township (15 February 1962)

Oliver Williams had a relapse Sunday and was taken back to the hospital in Marshfield, where he is a patient again.

The PTA meeting held at the Washburn School Friday evening was quite well attended. Archie Leich, Stratford, an exchange student to East and West Germany spoke and showed slides of his trip and told all about it.  It was greatly enjoyed by everyone present. The movie was followed by a basket social.

Several from this vicinity attended funeral services for Eugene Short in Neillsville Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Elmer Kapfer visited Mrs. Horace Rodman, Mrs. Ed Lindquist, Mrs. Clara Krause and Mrs. Sage, who are patients at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville, Saturday afternoon.  Mrs. Rodman had surgery last week Wednesday.
