Klabon, Anna #2 (29 SEP 1891 - 3 DEC 1960)

 

Adam Miskowitz officiated at the funeral services held for Mrs. Herman Klabon at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home Wednesday, Dec. 7th.  Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.  Six nephews, Albert, Emil, Edmund, Henry, Julius and Rheinholt Rohland served as pallbearers.  Their wives were in charge of the floral offerings.

 

Mrs. Klabon passed away Dec. 3rd, 1960 at a nursing home in Gilman.  She had attained the age of 69 years, 2 months and 4 days, but of late years had been suffering from a long lingering illness.

 

The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Witkowski, she was born Sept. 29, 1891 in Poland.  She came to the United States as a young woman and on Feb. 16, 1916, was united in marriage to Herman Klabon at a ceremony performed in Chicago, Ill.  Sometime thereafter the couple moved to this community, settling on a farm in the Town of Hixon Clark Co., Wis.), where she has since resided.

 

Mourning her passing are her husband, three sons, Rheinholt, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Ozzie, Stevens Point, and Herman Jr., rural Withee; four daughters, Mrs. Anthony (Clara) Anzalone, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Carl (Ruth) Erickson, Withee, Mrs. Gordon (Jennie) Hendricks, Gilman, and Mrs. Frederick (June0 Boening, North Chicago, Ill., and 11 grandchildren.
