Boling, Anna M. (23 MAY 1863 - 13 JUN 1943)

Anna M. Riphenburg was born at West Salem, Wis., on May 23, 1863, and passed to the Great Beyond at the Krohn Hospital in Black River Falls, where she had been taken for treatment, on Sunday, June 13, 1943, having attained the advanced age of 80 years and 20 days.  For a number of years she had suffered the trials of partial invalidism.

In 1905, she was married to Mr. John Boling of Osseo, and they moved to Church’s Ferry, N.D., where they remained until 1919, in which year they returned to Wisconsin, settling in the town of Hendren, in Clark County.  Mr. Boling’s death occurred in 1933.

Following the death of her husband, Mrs. Boling made her home with her brother, Herbert Riphenburg, and they have lived in Humbird (Clark County) since 1938.

The deceased is survived by two step-children, Irving Boling of McClusky, N.D., and Mrs. Anna Bartleson of La Crosse; two brothers, Hiram Riphenburg of Neillsville, and Herbert Riphenburg, Humbird; and one sister, Mrs. Mattie Hill of Mondovi.  There are numerous other relatives who mourn her death.

The remains were taken to Osseo, where funeral services were held at the congregational Church Wednesday afternoon.  Burial was in the family lot beside her husband in Osseo Cemetery.
