Pleasant Ridge (10 May 1962)

 

Sunday afternoon guests at the Lyman Chase home were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schmidt and family, Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Counsell.

 

Mrs. Clifford Blackman attended the Happy Hour Club meeting at the Henry Dahnert home in Neillsville.

 

Miss Shirley Magnuson, Minneapolis, Minn., spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Magnuson.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Blackman visited Sunday evening at the Clarion Counsell home.

 

Mrs. Leonard Drescher and Harold were Sunday afternoon guests at the Arnold Drescher home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Jones, Waukesha, were recent guests of her sister, Mrs. Glenn Short, and family and visited other relatives in the area.

 

Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Paulson and Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Counsell visited Friday evening at the Harold Huckstead home.

 

Word has been received in this area of the death of Fred Campbell, 83, last Saturday in Cataract.  Mr. Campbell was the father of Mrs. Delbert Bills of Madison, a former resident of this community, and the grandfather of Mrs. Vernon Drescher.

 

Miss Ella Magnuson, Miss Clara Knutson and Mrs. Henry Magnuson, all of Minneapolis, Minn., who accompanied Miss Shirley Magnuson (missing word here)
