Granton (31 May 1962)

Mrs. Elva Endicott is spending several weeks with the John Townsend family in Soldiers Grove.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Okray, who spent the weekend at the Beeckler home, went to Stevens Point Sunday to visit with Mr. Okray’s parents.  Later they returned to Madison.

Raymond Smith, Milwaukee, was a weekend guest at the Beeckler home.  Mrs. Jessie Beeckler of Neillsville also spent the weekend there.

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Spry, Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidtke, and Mr. and Mrs. Phelps Spry of Chili, were in Hillsboro Saturday where they witnessed a railroad exhibit.

Fidelity Camp, Royal Neighbors, will meet tonight (Thursday) at the home of Mrs. Pearl Cain.

Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Witte returned home Sunday from Dodgeville, where they were the weekend guests of their son, Rev. Robert Witte and his family.  They left Tuesday for Birchwood to spend the remainder of the week at their cottage.

The Ladies Aid of the Zion Lutheran Church was to entertain Wednesday the Ladies Aid of the Christ Lutheran Church of Chili.
