Gurgel, Mrs. Paul (? - June 1962)

 

Word has been received by Neillsville friends of the death in Reedsburg of Mrs. Paul Gurgel, 87, former resident of Neillsville.  Burial was made in Oak Hill Cemetery at North Freedom.

 

The Gurgels moved away from Neillsville some 25 to 30 years ago.  While here Mr. Gurgel did custom threshing for many farmers of the area. They moved to Baraboo, and then went to Reedsburg.

 

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William Tracy of Merrill, and Mrs. Huber (Ione) Strebing of Reedsburg; a son, Glen H. Bromley of Big Falls, Minn.; a brother, Herbert Farr of King; a sister, Mrs. M. S. Jackson of Baraboo; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
