Hack, Karen Jo (Marriage - 22 September 1962)

Zion Lutheran Church in Granton was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Miss Karen Jo Hack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hack of Marshfield, and Dale H. Trimberger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Trimberger of Granton.

An altar bouquet of white chrysanthemums and floor baskets of chrysanthemums in fall colors formed the setting for the double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. L. E. Schreiber.

Mr. Hack gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a rose patterned brocade dress styled with a street length skirt that swept to unpressed pleats in the back. The wide midriff bodice featured a bateau neckline and three- quarter-length sleeves.  Her shoulder-length veil was attached to a matching brocade pillbox headpiece.  She carried a cascade bouquet of white chrysanthemums and pompons.

Her honor attendant, Miss Elaine Trimberger, sister of the groom, wore a willow green sheath dress, the bodice of which featured a scoop neckline, three-quarter-length sleeves and a pleated cummerbund. The sheath skirt was styled with a two-tiered back detail. A matching pillbox completed her ensemble.  A cascade bouquet of bronze and yellow chrysanthemums was carried by the maid of honor.

Douglas Groll of St. Louis, Mo., was best man.  Ushers were E. L. Witte of Granton and Ted Hillert of Tomah.

Fall centerpieces with crystal dishes and candelabra decorated the tables for the buffet-style luncheon served in the church parlors.

The new Mrs. Trimberger is a graduate of Granton High School and St. Joseph’s school of nursing in Marshfield, and has been employed in a hospital in Ft. Wayne, Ind.  Mr. Trimberger also is a graduate of Granton High school and in 1962 was a graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary in Springfield, Ill, where they will reside at 2021 Clear Lake.

Hostess at the reception was Mrs. E. L. Witte of Granton; Mrs. Norman Maxwell, Marshfield, and Mrs. Ted Hillert of Tomah, poured.

Guests attending the wedding were from Sparta, La Crosse, Fox Lake, Waukesha, Ft. Atkinson, Jefferson, Kenosha, Thorp, Marshfield, Neillsville, Menasha, Tomah, Loyal, St. Louis, Mo., Ludington, Mich., and Chicago, Ill.
