Ruzic, Anna (17 June 1884 - 20 September 1962)

 

Mrs. Matt Ruzic, 78, of Marshfield, formerly of Willard, died in St. Joseph’s Hospital Thursday afternoon.  Mrs. Ruzic, who was born June 17, 1884, in Yugoslavia, suffered a stroke a week prior to her death and pneumonia set in.  Mrs. Ruzic, the former Anna Buttvick, and her husband, came to this area in 1919.  He died November 30, 1956.  Since then she had made her home with her children.

 

Surviving are two sons, Ivan of West Allis and Vincent Ruzic of Humbird; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Zora) Macknick of Stevens Point, Mrs. Edward (Frances) Kokaly of Marshfield, and Mrs. Edward (Ann) Mossak of Omro; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and two brothers, James and Joseph Buttvick, both of Detroit, Mich.

 

Funeral services were held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Hill Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. from Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard.  The Rev. Mirko Sylvester officiated.  Burial was made in the Holy Family Cemetery.
