Janesville Settlement ( 4 October 1962)

 

Sunday, Mrs. Fred Barr and Mrs. Jake Barr took Mrs. Mary Barr to Edgewood, Ia., to attend the funeral of the latter Mrs. Barr’s brother, Frank Boehm, which was held Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leondo Franz and family and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schwarze of Owen spent Sunday at the Henry Nielsen home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. James Goetz and sons of Marshfield spent Sunday at the Fred Clintsman home.

 

Mrs. Edwin Degenhardt was a patient at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville several days last week.  Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Updyke, and her sister, Mrs. Edward Sloniker, visited her while there. She returned home Saturday and her mother stayed with her Saturday.

 

The Willing Workers Homemakers club met September 18, at the home of Mrs. frank Pakiz.

 

Mrs. Floyd Updyke spent a day last week with her daughter, Mrs. Duane Branstiter, and family in Loyal.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schwarze of Owen spent the weekend with their daughter and family, the Henry Nielsens. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. James Seliskar and son visited relatives and friends in Withee Thursday evening.  Her mother, Mrs. William Vetterkind and son, Ernest returned home with them and spent the weekend at the Seliskar home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hoffman and family of Gilman spent Sunday with her parents, the Floyd Updykes.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Dillenbeck of Marshfield spent Sunday afternoon with his son and family, the Harold Dillenbecks.
