Mrs. Mary J. Lube

 

Mrs. Mary J. Lube, 81, formerly of Marshfield, mother of Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson, Wisconsin Rapids, died at 2:25 a.m. Friday at Neillsville Memorial nursing Home where she had resided since 1966.

 

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield, the Rev. James J. Hagmann officiating, with burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.

 

The former Mary Jordan was born Feb. 6, 1892, in the town of Hull, Marathon County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jordan, and married August Lube, June 14, 1911, at Colby. He died March 17, 1965. They lived in the Colby area until 1932, then moved to Marshfield.

 

Survivors include three sons, James, Marshfield; Henry and Irvin, both of Portland, Ore.; four daughters, Mrs. Thompson; Mrs. Carl Jacob, Racine; Mrs. George Hardinger, Marshfield; and Mrs. Clifford Schmidt, La Crosse; six sisters, 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

 

Friends may call at Rembs Chapel, Marshfield, from 3 p.m. Sunday until time of services.
