Kindt, Otto H. (1869? - 19 FEB 1946)

 

Otto H. Kindt, oldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gustav H. Kindt, died at his home, 2479 W. Cornell St., Milwaukee, Tuesday, Feb. 19th, 1946, and funeral services were held last Friday at the Raasch Chapel.  Burial was in Pinelawn Cemetery.

 

Mr. Kindt, who passed away after a short illness, was born at the parental home in Humbird (Clark Co., Wis.), seventy-six years ago.  He spent much of his boyhood days in the logging camps in this vicinity.  In 1890 he went to Milwaukee, where his home has been since that time.  He engaged for five years in the building construction line.  In 1895 he established the millwork firm which bore the name of the O.H. Kindt Manufacturing Co., of which he was president up to the time of his death.

 

Mr. Kindt’s father, who was a veteran of the Franco-Prussion war, died forty years ago, and his mother lived in Milwaukee until her death five years ago.  Two brothers also preceded him in death.

 

Surviving are his wife, Meta; a daughter, Mrs. E.A. Niedermeier; two sons, Albert and Gustav, all of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Fisher of Oconto, and Mrs. Julia Johnson of Butte, Mont.
