Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hart and his brother Charles enjoyed an outing at Island Lake, near Bloomer, Sunday.

Peter O’Leary and family are now staying in their new home on the west side of town.  Harry Iffland and wife will soon be occupying their new home.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bailey of Fort Wayne, Ind., were visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Collins last week.  Mr. Bailey is a nephew of Mrs. Collins.  While they were here, the men folks put a new covering on the Collins trailer house, and give it an attractive coat of paint.

Henry Boullion has been confined to his home by illness the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. M. Lund and son Mahlon left Saturday evening for a two week or longer vacation trip.  Their first stop will be at Spokane, Wash., to spend awhile with Mr. Lund’s brother at Springdale.  Other stops will be at Birmingham, Seattle, and at Lunden, where Mrs. Frank Stallard lives, and at Portland, to see the big dam.

Mrs. Hazel Walsh of Jim Falls, spent Monday here at the home of her father, Henry Rundle.  She was accompanied by two sons and her daughter.  One of her sons, Austin Sweeney, is a chief mechanic in the navy and is located at Long Beach, Calif.

Mrs. Mary Jenswold has had the barn at the rear of her home taken down and a garage and woodshed erected in its place.  John Fitzmaurice has taken down the barn and sheds at his home and replaced them with one smaller building for wood and car.
