Pleasant Ridge (25 October 1962)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Counsell spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Pagenkopf and family in Platteville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Ingold of Pine Valley were Sunday visitors at the Calvin Gerhardt home.  Other callers were Mrs. Donald Kalsow and children of Neillsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wren of Sydney and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kohlman of Neillsville visited Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Ted Selves.

 

Mrs. Lewis Scholtz of Neillsville spent Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Clifford Blackman.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Keith Breidung of Madison called Saturday at the Walter Larsen home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Larsen and Mr. and Mrs. William Meihak drove to St. Paul, Minn., Sunday, where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rockwell and family.  Mrs. Rockwell is the former Margaret Meihak.

 

Mrs. Leon Stanley returned home Saturday from Memorial Hospital, where she had been under observation.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Drescher were hosts Saturday evening to their card club.  Prizes were merited by Mrs. Calvin Gerhardt, Mrs. Roy Suckow, Ed Lezotte and Roger Grottke.

 

Mrs. Walter Larsen, Mrs. Everett P. Skroch, Miss Freda Hrach and Mrs. Joe Pisny of Neillsville were in Chippewa Falls one day last week, where they attended a diocesan convention of Catholic Women of the district.
