Oldham, June Annette (Marriage - 27 October 1962)

The First Methodist Church in Neillsville was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Miss June Annette Oldham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Oldham of Rt. 2, Neillsville, and Jack Kluckhohn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Kluckhohn also of Rt. 2 Neillsville.  The Rev. Lloyd Mauer performed the double ring ceremony.  Baskets of yellow chrysanthemums were on each side of the altar.

For her wedding the bride chose a floor length gown of Chantilly lace and tulle, styled with a pearl and sequin trimmed Sabrina neckline. The Basque waist was fashioned with long, tapered sleeves and the full hoop skirt of lace and tulle was enhanced with garland motifs.  She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Miss Caroline Kluckhohn, sister of the groom, was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Mrs. Elaine Glassbrenner and Miss Bonnie Oldham.

Bestman was the groom’s cousin, Robert Kluckhohn of Naperville, Ill. Groomsmen were Charles Glassbrenner and Dick Oldham.  John Wildish and Walter Oldham ushered.

Nuptial music was played by Mrs. T. N. Thompson.

One hundred fifty guests attended a reception held in the church parlors, followed by a dance in the evening.

The bride is a 1962 graduate of Neillsville High School and has been employed as cashier in a local market.  The groom, a 1960 graduate of Neillsville High School, is employed by the county highway department.  They will reside in Neillsville.
