Double wedding of: Richard Matti, Sr. (groom on right center), Geraldine Squires (bride on right center ) and Janice Matti (bride on left center) and Robert Mathews (groom on left center). 

Richard and Janice are the children of Nellie Dimmitt Matti and Adolf Fred Matti, grandchildren of William E. and Mary Dimmitt.

The man in the back on the far right is Geraldine's brother, Leland Squires and the bridesmaid on the far right is Geraldine's sister, Genevieve Squires Shanks. 

They were married on Nov. 30, 1946 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fairview, WI.  Dick and Gerry are buried in the Town of Mentor Cemetery, Humbird, WI.  Robert Mathews is buried in Black River Falls, WI and Janice Mathews is buried in the Town of Mentor Cemetery, Humbird, WI. 

***Richard and Geraldine (Dick and Gerry) are the parents of Cindy Dressler.

Matti, Janice (30 NOV 1946)

 

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Fairview, was the scene of a happy double wedding Saturday, Nov. 20th, 1946.  Rev. Joseph L. Brake officiated in high mass which united in holy wedlock, Mr. Robert Mathews and Miss Janice, Mattie, and Mr. Richard Mattie and Miss Geraldine Squires.
