Mrs. Carrie Woodford is spending a few weeks in Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Horace Sherwin left Sunday on an extended trip for the supply and manufacturing firm he represents.  Minneapolis and Sioux Falls, S.D., are the northern points to be visited.  From there they will go south through Iowa, and then into Nebraska and Kansas.  They expect to be gone two and a half months.

Mrs. Edwin Harris returned Sunday evening from Minneapolis, where she had spent ten days with her son Rolland, who is at the veterans’ hospital.  Rolland is convalescing nicely from the operation, although not able to be out of bed when she left.  While in Minneapolis Mrs. Harris was a guest at the Lastofka home.

Mrs. S.R. Newton received some painful injuries in a fall on the ice near her home Monday evening.

Mrs. Kelsh and daughter, Mrs. Marohl, drove to Minneapolis Tuesday, taking the former’s sister, Mrs. Schabel to relatives there.  Mrs. Schabel leaves for her home in Montana Friday morning, after a two week visit with relatives and old acquaintances here.

During the late snowstorm, Mrs. Herb Green and two of the children went to Milwaukee to attend the graduation exercises of her niece, Miss Ann Leiser, from high school.  Unfortunately, owing to the snow blockade of the city, the commencement was postponed and Mrs. Green returned without attending the program.
