Ziehlsdorff, Lena (23 September 1887 - 23 October 1962)

Mrs. A. F. Ziehlsdorff, 75, of Fond du Lac, a former Neillsville resident and stepmother of Mrs. George Zuehlke, died at the Lutheran Home in Fond du Lac, October 23.  Mrs. Ziehlsdorff, nee Lena Krueger, was born September 23, 1887, in Spencer.  She was married in October 1929, to the Rev. A. F. Ziehlsdorff, who preceded her in death in January 1946, in Neillsville.

As a young woman she lived in Milwaukee.  After their marriage they lived in Spencer for several years, then went to the state of Maryland, where they lived for eight years; then the pastor retired and came to Neillsville, where she lived for almost five years, before going to Fond du Lac, where she lived with her sister, Mrs. Louis Brusewitz, until a year ago.

Surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. Zuehlke of Loyal and Mrs. Alfred Oeligrich of Spencer; a step-son Gerhart Ziehlsdorff of Milwaukee; nine grandchildren; two sisters and a brother.

Funeral services were held October 25 from the Billingmaier Funeral Home in Fond du Lac, with the Rev. Gerhart Ehlert officiating.  Burial was made in the Rienzi Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
