Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Seig and Jill of Alma Center wee dinner guests Sunday of her grandmother, Mrs. Laura Dignin.  In the afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Gil Blom of Price called there.

 

Mrs. Margaret Walker of Fairchild, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Archie Kirby, drove to Milwaukee Thursday to be overnight guests of Mrs. Arnie Seelow.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stuve and Nordahl Fristad attended the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Christmas party in Neillsville Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dick Rosalock of Eau Claire called Saturday at the Adolph Rosalock home.

 

Jim and Louie Benson were her from Fairchild Friday attending to business matters.

 

Hal Russell, Sandra and Holly of Sparta, called Sunday at the Sam Newton home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kopp and children drove to Neillsville Saturday night to attend a birthday party at the Jerry Cernik home honoring Mrs. Cernik.

 

Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Schweinler and children of Elroy spent Sunday with her mother and brother, Mrs. Freda Zerbel and Art.

 

Mrs. and Mrs. Glen Van Horn and Miss Irene Dunn of Alma Center were dinner and supper guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Perle Pickett.

 

Rev. and Mrs. E. G. Burtness of Neillsville were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Holman in the Tindahl district.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Haag and Leonard of Melrose, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Haag and Scott of La Crosse, were dinner and afternoon guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Laffe.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chet Bailey spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Archie Fradenburg.

 

Mrs. Nina Stuve spent Wednesday with Mrs. Hattie Stuve, near Price.

 

Mrs. Thane Joos, Susan and Karen of Alma Center and Mrs. Sam Newton were in Eau Claire Saturday and were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Nelson.

 

Mrs. Laura Dignin was a guest of her daughter, Mrs. Gil Blom, in Price from Thursday until Saturday.

 

Mrs. John Greub, Mrs. Chet Bailey and Mrs. Freda Zerbel called on Mr. and Mrs. Albert Van Kirk in the Black River Falls hospital Friday.

 

Walter Sheffer and brother, Donald Sheffer of La Crosse, drove to Madison last week, taking their father, John Sheffer for a checkup. Good reports were brought back.

 

Mrs. Rudy Aeschbacher, Mrs. Glen Van Horn and Miss Irene Dunn of Alma Center wee Marshfield visitors Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Markham drove to Mosinee Sunday to have an early Christmas dinner with his sister, Mrs. Elsie Daul.

 

Mrs. Harold Hart and Mrs. Kenneth Hart of Alma Center spent Monday in Eau Claire.

 

Callers Sunday afternoon at the Roy Johnson home were Mr. and Mrs. Art Anderson and Mrs. Rob Green.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jake Fitzmaurice and Mrs. Emma O’Leary were here from Janesville Saturday.  Mrs. O’Leary spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kopp, and then drove to the Jerry Cernik home at Neillsville Sunday.  Mrs. O’Leary has improved since being in Janesville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Matti drove to Neillsville Monday afternoon and were accompanied by Mrs. Lee Terrell and Mrs. Helen Giloy.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Will Hein were recent callers in Black River Falls and Neillsville.  When in Neillsville they called on Cora Stanley in the hospital and found her improving.

 

A. L. Kirby accompanied a group of Masons from Fairchild to Alma Center Sunday for the funeral of Frank Duxbury.
