Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in the village at 2:00 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 29th, and were attended by many relatives and friends.  The Rev. Edward J. Sachtjen, pastor of the church, officiated.  The song service, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere: and "Sometime We’ll Understand," was rendered by Mrs. Walter Smith and Mrs. Will Theiler, and Mrs. George Hohmann accompanist.  Pallbearers were her grandsons, Gerald Tubbs, William, Lynn, and Dale Dignin, Dale Austin, and Donald Johnson.  The floral tributes were in charge of Mrs. Edwin Harris and Mrs. Clarence Olson.  Interment was in the Mentor Cemetery.
