Ritter, Glenn O. (12 SEP 1939 - 20 JUL 2011)

 

Glenn Oakley Ritter, 71, of Abbotsford, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. 

Services will be held at a later date.

He is the son of Paul and Alice (Adams) Ritter, born on Sept. 12, 1939, in Neillsville. He was united in marriage to Sandra Lee Brown on May 31, 1966, in Spencer. She preceded him in death on Nov. 15, 2001. 

Glenn is survived by three sisters, Alfrieda (Troy) Austin of Abbotsford, Alice (George) Bender of Owen and Pearl (William) Darge of Spencer; one brother, Victor (Eileen) Ritter of Unity, and many nieces and nephews. 

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; five brothers, Merlyn (Maureen) Ritter, Gordon (Alice) Ritter, Arlyn (Pat) Ritter, Allen Ritter and Paul Ritter Jr.; and three sisters, Viola (Arthur) Whitemore, Pauline (Blaine) McCray and infant baby Doris.

Glenn worked for Greenwood Midland for many years. He then worked at the Badger Basket Company in Edgar where he retired. 

A special thanks to his niece, Cindy Dahl, for the years she took care of him. 

The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
