Chili (18 February 1910)

 

Geo. Waterman, H. H. Henning, Chas. Mundt and others transacted business in Marshfield Wednesday.

 

August Prust is till the busiest man in town taking in the town rent.

 

Degener received another car of bran, middlings, shelled corn and flour.  No raise in the price.

 

It is reported that there is small pox at H. Schulze’s place at the south-east forty of our townships.

 

The quarantine has been raised and school has opened in District 2 and 6.

 

Dan Brooks was down Sunday to scale the logs for Roddis Veneer Co.

 

Chas. Moths has been hauling big loads of barley to Chili this week.

 

Louis Albrecht who got hurt in the sand pit is on the gain now.

 

August Prust had an official trip to Veefkind last week.

 

Kemmeter had pay day on Tuesday, but on account of stormy weather most of the checks were not called for until Wednesday.
