Mrs. C.V. Reineck and baby have been visiting at their former home in New Richmond.

 

George Mueller and wife were visitors Sunday with their daughter and family near Melrose.

 

Mrs. W.E. Waters returned home Monday morning from her visit at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.A. Moos, and family in Champaign, Ill.

 

Mr. and Mrs. C.W. hart attended the 1948 regional meeting of the Wisconsin Association of Insurance Agents, which was held in Eau Claire Wednesday.

 

George Fradenburg, who underwent a major operation at the Marshfield Hospital, has returned to his home near Willard, where he is convalescing nicely.

 

Rev. and Mrs. Robert Short and one of their children of Brookings, S.D., were visitors a part of last week at the home of her mother, Mrs. Emma Stuve.  All spent one day with the H.A. Stuve family at Owen.  Business that called Rev. Short to the Twin Cities gave opportunity for a brief visit here.

 

John Babler was here from Minneapolis the fore part of the week, attending to matters about the farm.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Rieder of Rockford, were visitors with relatives here a part of last week, and also attended to business matters.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Lund spent from Friday until Sunday night in Superior with their son, who is attending college there, and with relatives and friends.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gradon Brown and two children visited Sunday at the Walter Smith home.  Mrs. Brown was the former Miss Doriss Tuttle, at one time a home economics teacher here.
