York Center (25 February 1910)

Fred Heibel who recently purchased the Coates Cheese Factory has identified himself with the local union of the A. S. of E. of this place.

Last Thursday night a good sized crowd assembled at John Vandebergs home for a Valentine sociable.  Forest Rowe and Olive Lawrence won the prize for making the most words from the word Valentine.  A delightful evening was spent.

Earl Lawrence came up from Plymouth Saturday and will visit her several weeks.

We are informed that John Aichinger has purchased G. L. Redmond’s farm for $5,600.

Clarence, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Abram Vandeberg who was quite ill, is considerable better.

J. L. Parrett was confined to the house several days this week.  His daughter, Gladys was absent from school on account of a very severe cold.
