Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Morgan were Owen callers Saturday. 

 

Elmer Jakel and Franklin Peterson were Owen callers Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Krueger and family visited Sunday at the home of Mrs. Gusta Kobs.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Block and son Charles of Chicago called on friends here one day last week. 

 

Ralph Green and daughters Shirley, Lila and Janet were Abbotsford callers Tuesday afternoon. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lindau of Dorchester were Sunday visitors at the Albert Johnson home. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schroeder and family of Appleton visited Sunday at the Frank Schroder home.

 

Mrs. Albert Klessig and Miss Bertha Kraut visited at the H. Peterson home Monday evening. 

 

Mrs. O. A. Sturner and the Misses Helen Kobs and Minnie Fahrenbach were Marshfield callers Monday. 

 

Miss Beatrice Knight of Owen spent a few days last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lokken.

 

Mrs. Wm. Anderson and baby daughter arrived home Saturday evening from the Marshfield hospital.

 

Miss Martha Schultz of Owen visited Sunday afternoon at the home of her sister, Mrs. Franklin Tonn.

 

Mr. and Mrs. R. Schonemann and Mrs. H. Machlett visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. Kopp. 

 

The Ladies Aid of the German Reformed church will meet Wednesday Sept. 2 at the home of Mrs. J. Kraut. 

 

Mrs. L. Neitzel and daughter of Abbotsford, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Green. 

 

The Helping Hand Society will meet Friday afternoon August 28th at the home of Mrs. Albert Kuehling.

 

Mrs. Herman Samess left Saturday for her home in Ladysmith after a few days visit with relatives here. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Tessmer and family of Colby spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Rahn and family returned home Sunday from a few days visit with relatives at Ladysmith. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. L. Millard and son Bruce returned home Friday from a few days trip in the southern part of the state. 

 

Mrs. Amelia Neitsch left Saturday for Withee to accompany the John Zasoba family of that place to Ingram to spend Sunday at the Walter Zasoba home. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. B. b. Green and Mrs. and Mrs. Al Johnson and children and Mr. and Mrs. J. Johnson and family were Sunday evening callers at the H. Peterson home. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Machlett and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rice and daughter returned Saturday from a two weeks rip to Ohio where he visited Mr. and Mrs. Henry Machlett.
