School Meeting News (8 July 1910)

At the annual school meeting held at the school house last Tuesday evening the old officers were re-elected and the usual amount of business was disposed of.  The board seems to have some difficulty this year in selecting the required number of teachers. So far no principal has been engaged as yet.  Miss Myrtle Roberts will return to her post as assistant principal and Miss Emma Marth of Neillsville has been engaged to teach the primary class in place of Mrs. MacBride and Miss Elva Gates of Neillsville may accept the position as teacher for the Intermediate department in place of Miss Gertrude Holmes, who has decided to take a much needed rest.  The fact that Mrs. MacBride and Miss Holmes do not return to the staff is very much regretted by all as they are both excellent teachers.
