Kurth (15 July 1910)

Herman Gluch had a birthday party Sunday eve.  A good time was enjoyed by all present.

John Krause and family spent Sunday at his mother’s place.

Lena Riedel spent Monday at Chili visiting friends.

The annual school meeting of District No. 4 was held at the school house last week Wednesday eve.  Henry Garbisch was re-elected clerk.

Mrs. L. L. Ayers spent Tuesday at Neillsville.

Henry Pischer delivered 2 calves at Granton Tuesday.

F. J. Riedel entertained the mason’s lat week building a basement under his barn.

Otto, Paul, and Arnold Kelpin are assisting F. D. Riedel with work in his sugar beet patch.

Grandma Keuer is spending the week at Gust Riedel’s in the Town of Lynn.

Well, it’s dry all right in spite of the town’s going "wet" at the spring election. Better reverse that vote next year.  You all see the value of water now don’t you?
