Mrs. Libbie Altenburg visited with her parents at Lindsey Sunday.


Mrs. Ella Hiles of Dexterville was a business caller here Saturday.


Everett Rain of Nasonville, while on his way to Lindsey to visit friends, stopped at Jonnie Tremelling’s for a short visit.


Rev. A. Sifert and wife of Lindsey dined with Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn one day last week while on their way home from Granton.


Mrs. R.T. Washburn and daughter Hazel visited friends at Dexterville the latter part of this week.


Geo. Brooks transacted business at Greenwood last week Wednesday.


Mrs. G.R. Brooks will give a 10 cent tea Saturday afternoon, the proceeds to be used for church purposes.


Mrs. James Sternitzky, who has been sick for some time, is not reported to be any better.


Miss Mable Brooks came over from Columbia to spend Saturday and Sunday at home.


Raymond Brooks came home Friday to see his Ma, returning to school at Marshfield Monday.


Mrs. E.F. Brooks was taken suddenly sick last Monday.  Dr. C.L. Schultz was summoned and she is some better at this writing.


Dan Thompson and family of Mather moved here the latter part of last week.  Mr. Thompson has taken a wood job near Harris Spur.  His brother Joe of Valley Jct. will help him.


Mose St. Germain visited his father at Sherwood last Sunday.


John Rude is preparing the school for a Thanksgiving program.


E.F. Brooks transacted business at Neillsville last Thursday.


We understand a number of our citizens were slighted just recently when a collection was taken up for church purposes and if the collector will pass this way again and not slight anyone, he will probably have to enlarge his pockets.


Miss Elsie Brooks was a business caller at Granton last week.
