Foemmel’s Corners (18 November 1910)
Mrs. Frank Krejci returned from a several weeks visit at Chicago, West Bend and Baraboo last week Thursday. She was accompanied by a sister from Baraboo.
Ed Ackerman and Fred Frank spent last week Thursday night in caring for Herman Roehl who is suffering with blood poisoning in his hand.
E. R. Wonser took Mr. and Mrs. Rowerdink and Mrs. John Pietenpol for a ride out through the country in his auto.
Last Thursday night a number of Frank Krejci’s friends gave him and his wife a pleasant surprise in honor of their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary.
Glen Nonhof is somewhat under the weather.
Dr. Ross and family, Doc Wonser and family Sundayed at Al Nonhof’s
Henry Pietenpol and family spent Sunday at his brother John’s.
Mr. Rowerdink and family left Monday for their home in Sheboygan.
Miss Velda Heyder is assisting Mrs. Potter with her household duties.
George Glover of Marshfield formerly of Sheboygan is making cheese here now and expects to remain until spring at least.
Will Foemmel helped Truman Davis butcher Tuesday.
Miss Alida Nonhof left this week for Nebraska where she will spend some time with her sister Mrs. Dayharsh.
