This week is the beginning of the second semester.

 

Edna Kemmeter, who has been attending school at Menasha, has returned home and taken up her school studies here.

 

Some of those pupils who were unable to attend examinations last week, will write this week.

 

The new studies which were taken up this semester are rhetorics and agriculture.

 

Some of those who have been absent because of sickness are Hattie Pietenpol, Geo. King, Elton Rose, and Ethel Osgood.

 

Raymond Hornbeck drove to Neillsville Friday afternoon, Pearl Brooks accompanying him and remaining over until Sunday afternoon.

 

Lazetta Gerike has taken up her studies in the upper department this week.

 

Mr. Thomas, agent for American Book Co. visited school Tuesday.
