Lynn (13 January 1911)

The basketball game between Neillsville and Lynn was well played.  Outside of a few teeth which were knocked out and a couple of black eyes nobody was hurt very bad, with Neillsville winning the game by a score of 23 to 29.  The training and practice showed plainly that the Neillsville boys were ahead. The Lynn boys eating a good hardy supper before the game made them somewhat out of wind, while Neillsville eating nothing but hard tack and tooth picks could hold out lots better and for this reason the above score.

The Busy Bee Sewing Club met with Miss Lillian Opelt Saturday.
