Mr. Drescher has again taken up the reading of "Greek Myths."

There are quite a number of absent pupils this week.

Hattie King has resumed her school work after a few weeks absence.

Mamie Donahue attended teacher’s examination at Neillsville, returning home Tuesday morning.

Some of the pupils attended the party at H. Pietenpol’s last Thursday evening.

The big heater refused to stand on four legs Monday and the consequences were that it fell over on the floor.  As the fire company was not summoned, no great excitement prevailed, only rather smoky in the schoolroom for a while.
