Ott, Edward L. (20 October 1884 - 4 February 1963)

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) from the United Brethren Church in Chili for Edward L. Ott, 78, who died at his home in Chili Monday.  He was the father of Miss Mae Ott, Neillsville elementary school teacher.

 

The services will be conducted by the Rev. L. L. McCormick.  Burial will be made in the church cemetery.

 

Mr. Ott, who farmed in the Town of Lynn or 42 years, retired two years ago and moved to Chili at that time.

 

He was born in Forest Junction October 20, 1884, and received his education there and at Enid, Okla.  In March, 1908, he was married to Julia Hacker, who preceded him in death.  On October 1, 1919, he was married to Lydia Lindow Happe.

 

Survivors include: his wife; four daughters, Miss Mae Ott of Neillsville, Mrs. Lester (Verna) Swenson of Marshfield, Leah and Hazel at home; a sister, Mrs. Albert Schubering of Forest Junction; and a brother Frank Ott of Menasha.

Funeral services were conducted at the E. U. B. Church in Chili for Edward L. Ott, 78, of Chili, who died February 4.  The Rev. L. L. McCormick officiated.  Burial was made in the church cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were: Marlyn Lindow, Michael Gallagher, Philip Schilling, Lawrence Lindow, Vernon Lindow and Irwin Rusch.
