Horn, Arthur W. (18 August 1894 - 25 January 1963)

 

Military funeral services were held for Arthur W. Horn, 68, January 30 from Immanuel United Church, with the Rev. Orval Egbert officiating.  Burial was made in Forest Hill Cemetery, at Braun Settlement.

 

Pallbearers were nephews: Kenneth Horn, Lloyd Horn, Donald Horn, Herbert Horn, Darrel Horn and Gerald Horn.

 

The Men’s Chorus of Immanuel Church, accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Clarence Meinhardt, sang, "Abide with me" and "O What a Friend is Jesus".  Organist was Mrs. Walter Schwarze.

 

People from away who attended were: Mrs. Arthur Horn, Mrs. James Bailey, Darrel Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Nelson, all of Aberdeen, S. D.; Ervin Horn and daughter, Mrs. Charles Wentworth, and Jerome Horn, all of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Wadzinski of Junction City; and friends from Withee and Loyal.
