Chili (14 February 1963)

 

The W. S. W. S. of the Chili E. U. B. Church met Wednesday afternoon.  Mrs. Ezra Schilling led the devotions.  The topic was "This is your Life."  It was the second in the study of "The Rim of East Asia."

 

Mrs. Phelps Spry conducted the business meeting. The secretary and treasurer reports were given.  Mr. McCormick told of the various youth activities of Youth week.

 

Election of officers will be held at the March meeting.

 

Mrs. Harold Searls was a visitor.  Mrs. Charles Stark and Mrs. Lyle Zimmerman served a lunch following the meeting.

 

Rev. L. L. McCormick received word of the death of his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Holman of Monroe Sunday morning following a short illness.

 

Mrs. Lyle Zimmerman, Mrs. Arthur Happe and Mrs. Oliver Happe of Ripon were dinner guests Friday of Mrs. Edward Ott and family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Keith Stump and son, Jay Dee, of Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Moerchen and son, Greg, and Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Pusheck were guests Thursday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stump and Mrs. Ladona Sellers.  The occasion was Mrs. Stump’s birthday.

 

Dinner and supper guests Sunday of Mrs. Edward Ott and family were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Swenson of Marshfield. Afternoon guests were Charles Lindow, Marian Lindow, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lindow.

 

Misses Jeanette Puscheck and Carla Schultz of Denmark attended the State F. H. A. Meeting at Stevens Point Friday and Saturday, and were guests Saturday night and Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Pusheck.
