Raciborski, Louis (25 MAY 1896 - 28 FEB 1958)

 

Louis Raciborski, 61, a World War I veteran, and Town of Taft Dairy Farmer passed away at the Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley on Friday, Feb. 28th, 1958, after a lingering illness.

 

The deceased was born in Warsaw, Poland on May 25, 1896.  He came to this country at an early age and on April 22, 1922 was united in marriage to Pauline Bugajski at Chicago, Ill.

 

He is survived by his wife, Pauline, two sons, Edward of Maywood, Ill., and Eugene of thorp, three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Plattis of Chicago and Mrs. Virginia Carroccio and Miss Bernice Raciborski of Franklin Park, Ill., and eight grandchildren.

 

One son, John, preceded him in death.

 

Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Herr of Wausau, Wis., at the Thorp Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 o’clock Monday afternoon, March 3rd.  Interment took place at Riverside Cemetery, near Black River, with military escort and services accorded the deceased at the grave by members of the American Legion of Cecil Tormey Post No. 118 of Thorp.  Pallbearers were john Petrine, Walter Kasusky, August Bugajski, Frank Bugajski of Trafford, Pa., all brother-in-laws, and jack Pitrowski of Owen, Wis.
