Lueck, Charles F. (23 January 1890 –? 1963)

 

Funeral services for Charles F. Lueck, 73, of Neillsville, were conducted Monday afternoon from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Norman Lindloff officiated, and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Mr. Lueck was born January 23, 1890, in the Town of Weston, and had been a lifelong resident of Clark County.  He was the son of the late Albert and Otellia (Schoenherr) Lueck.  He received his schooling in the Town of Weston schools and was engaged in farming.

 

He was married on August 3, 1915, to the former Phena Ott, who survives.  He worked at the B & F Machine shop and for several years had been janitor at St. John’s Lutheran School.  He had been in ill health for the last year.

 

He is survived by his wife and the following children: Marvin of Rib Lake; Walter of Neillsville; Mrs. Carl (Ruby) Bradenburg of Milwaukee; Mrs. Howard (Elaine) Heup, Winona, Minn.; and Mrs. LaRay (Rosemarie) Norlin of Tomahawk.

 

Other survivors are two sisters: Mrs. Theodore (Lena) Hoffman of Wabasso, Minn., and Mrs. Henry (Bertha) Stiemke of Neillsville and William Lueck, Neillsville and twelve grandchildren also survive.

 

He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and its Men’s Club.

 

Funeral arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home.
