Anderegg, William (15 September 1878 - 26 May 1963)

 

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday from the Georgas Funeral Home for William Anderegg, 84, of Huron, O., and formerly of Neillsville.  He died Sunday in Sandusky, O.  The Rev. Lloyd Mauer of the Methodist Church officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Mr. Anderegg was on September 15, 1878, in Coon Valley, where he was educated. As a young man Mr. Anderegg, along with several brothers, came to the Town of York, where they farmed for a number of years.

 

On August 2, 1908, he was married to the former Loretta Baldwin in Loyal. She died in 1949.  They moved to Neillsville and in 1943 went to Milwaukee to be with their son, Charles.  He retired several years ago from employment of the Badger Meter Company, and for the last few years had made his home with a son, Elmer, in Huron, O.

 

He is survived by the following children; Edward of Greenwood, Mrs. Matt (Evelyn) Jerger of West Allis; Elmer of Huron, O.; Robert of Hartland; Mrs. Gerald (Anita) Robinson of Vermilion, O.; and Charles Anderegg of Cedarburg.

 

Other survivors are a sister, Miss Minnie Anderegg, of Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, Fred Anderegg of Blair, Henry and Jake Anderegg, both of Loyal.  Seventeen grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive.
