Romadka (28 April 1910)

 

Ernest Schlinsog spent last week with his sister Mrs. Otto Lustig, doing some farm work for her.

 

Mr. Fred Scholz has charge of the G. Bertschinger farm since the latter is working for Paul Scholz.

 

Art Johnston lost a valuable horse early this week.

 

Ray Canfield made a pleasure trip to the county line Sunday.

 

Schlinsog brothers, Fred and Ernest, two progressive farmers north of here, are now on the telephone line.

 

Mrs. Herman Grobe returned home last Sunday after spending a week here with her daughter Mrs. Herman Garbisch.

 

Fred Frank and family moved down to Lindsey Monday for this coming summer, where he has secured a position as cheese maker.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schlinsog and little daughter visited at Fred Lafendofsky’s Sunday.

 

L. Hantke has rented the W. Nast farm.  He took possession last week.

 

Miss Lena Grobe is here for an extended stay at Herman Garbisch’s home since Sunday.

 

Mrs. Herman Schmidtke and children visited at Fred Garbisch’s Sunday afternoon.

 

Mrs. G. Bertschinger visited friends here Wednesday.
