Alvin Grassman and Frank Preston went to Loyal Thursday to deliver a horse which Grassman sold to parties there.
Feather bees seem to be the order of the day. Mrs. Ernest Nitschke gave two, one on Tuesday and another on Friday, and Mrs. Otto Yankee gave one on Wednesday, which everybody enjoyed.
Misses Olga and Julia Bentz and Minnie Teatz returned to Mendota Tuesday after a week’s visit with relatives here.
Ralph Mayhew went to Neillsville Wednesday on business.
Chas. Weisner sawed wood on Friday.
The Ernest Nitschke family spent Sunday evening at Frank Preston’s.
Geo. Rose was in this vicinity looking for a cow Wednesday.
It is reported that one of the Theo Bresmean’s horses got its leg broken.
Mrs. Philip Breseman returned home after spending a week at Altoona.
Miss Etta Altenburg did sewing for Mrs. Clara Bass on Friday.
Fred Breseman had the misfortune to cut his leg quite badly some time ago.
