East Lynn (12 May 1911)

 

With corn planting time at hand, milking cows, dodging automobiles and 101 other things the farmer is kept busy these days.

 

Mr. and Mrs. August Kempin and Mr. and Mrs. August Prust of Chili spent Sunday at C. Guk’s.

 

August Pusheck and family drove out to Ernst Sternitzky’s Sunday.

 

Henry Retzlaff is reported as very ill.

 

C. Guk helped Fred Hines of Fremont pull pine stumps Monday.

 

Henry Ebbe was out with his auto Sunday and gave his relatives and friends a free ride.

 

The H. Dietrich family entertained company from Marshfield Sunday.

 

Albert Sternitzky’s old hen has been over-taken.

 

E. Conrad took wool to Granton, Monday.

 

C. Altenburg raised his barn last week and expects to commence work on his basement in a short time.
